Dream A Little Dream : A short film.

Dream A Little Dream is a song written in 1931 by Gus Kahn, Fabian Andre and Wilbur Schwandt. The French version, Les Yeux Ouverts (Eyes Open) was created by Enzo Enzo in 1990. In the summer of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I recorded it for my debut album At Last, the product of a two year collaboration with my pianist and composer Marcus Dagan. Dream A Little Dream is the opening number, and the subject of this short film.

My friend Katharina Baron directed the film with her unique flair. It stars myself, alongside Jerimiyah Dunbar, with cinematography by Maximilian Shmige and editing by Eric Tosstorff. We pulled the shoot together in just 24 hours, and filmed in Los Angeles at a friend’s house.
